Design Engineering is a metal fabrication company based in East London, established in the early 90s

With almost 30 years of experience, Design Engineering provides reliable and expert metal fabrication services including bespoke metal items, electric sliding and bi-folding gates, security gates and railings, among many others.

We work with all types of metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, and we always aim to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.

As well as fabrication services, we offer design services, working with consulting engineers on design calculations (where required). Our team is able to evaluate your designs and provide expert advice to ensure your project gets off to a great start. We can also provide designs from scratch, using cutting-edge AutoCAD software. All projects are drawn in-house and are approved and signed off by clients before any fabrication is carried out

What sized projects do you complete?

Whilst much of our work is larger-scale, such as structural fabrication, staircases and commercial projects, we are also happy to take on smaller works.
Where do you cover?

Based in Waltham Forest, we cover all areas of London, as well as Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire.
Can you travel outside of these areas?

We are happy to work on projects further afield. Quotes will be adjusted to accommodate additional travel and material expenses.
How much will work cost?

This depends on the work required, the complexity, and your location. We are always happy to provide a competitive quote on all work. Our smallest repair and fabrication projects start from £30.
